Build Your Mental Fitness and Lead with Confidence

Empowering high‑performing leaders to thrive

If you’re a high-performing leader who feels driven yet overwhelmed, I help you quiet self-sabotage, strengthen resilience, and lead with greater ease and impact.

Is This You?

This work is designed for:

Non profit icon

Nonprofit executives and mission-driven leaders

Founders and entrepreneurs carrying heavy responsibility

High-achieving professionals who feel stretched thin

Manager icon

Managers stepping into larger roles

Rocket icon

Working parents balancing ambition and family

Leaders who look successful on the outside but feel internally pressured

You may recognize yourself if:

Your worth feels tied to productivity

You struggle to say no

You replay conversations long after they end

You hesitate before speaking up

You push through stress instead of addressing it

You are successful, but not fully at ease

Mental fitness is not about doing less.

It’s about operating differently.

Most leadership development focuses on strategy, communication, and performance. But what if the real barrier isn’t skill?

What if it’s the internal voice that says:

“You should be doing more.”
“Don’t mess this up.”
“Everyone is counting on you.”

That voice drives overwork, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout. Mental fitness addresses the root.

The Hidden Cost of High Achievement

Positive Intelligence® (PQ®) is a research-based mental fitness framework that helps you:

Identify and weaken self-sabotaging thought patterns
Strengthen the part of your brain associated with calm, clarity, creativity, and wise decision-making
Build emotional resilience under pressure
Improve relationships and leadership presence

Rather than focusing only on external skills, we work on the internal patterns that drive your reactions. You learn to shift from stress-driven responses to grounded, intentional leadership.

  • Burnout recovery

  • Strategic decisions

  • Work-life alignment

We focus on real situations you are navigating right now.

For more than 15 years, I served as a nonprofit executive leading teams I deeply cared about. I loved the mission, but my Hyper-Achiever was often in control. Late nights. Full weekends. Constant output. Even after becoming a mom and shifting to part-time work, I didn’t truly slow down. If I’m honest, my sense of worth was tied to how much I accomplished.

Discovering Positive Intelligence changed everything.

At first, I approached mental fitness like another goal to master. But over time, through simple daily practices, I learned to notice my Saboteurs, especially my Hyper-Achiever and Pleaser, and shift into curiosity, clarity, and grounded choice.

Those small daily mental reps changed how I lead, how I decide, and how I show up. Today, my worth is not measured by hours worked. It’s reflected in alignment, presence, and impact. Now I help other leaders build that same inner capacity.

Mental Fitness Frequently Asked Questions

  • Mental fitness is your ability to respond to life’s challenges with clarity instead of stress.

Just like physical fitness strengthens your body, mental fitness strengthens the part of your brain responsible for calm, creativity, resilience, and wise decision-making. When your mental fitness is low, self-doubt, overthinking, and pressure tend to run the show. When it’s strong, you lead with intention rather than reaction.

  • Most coaching focuses on goals, strategy, or performance skills.

Positive Intelligence® focuses on the internal patterns that drive your reactions in the first place. Instead of only improving what you do, we strengthen how you think. This creates more sustainable change because you are addressing the root cause of stress and self-sabotage.

  • Saboteurs are the automatic mental patterns that create stress, self-criticism, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or avoidance.

Sage represents the wiser part of your mind. It responds with curiosity, calm, empathy, and creative problem-solving.

The goal is not to eliminate stress entirely. The goal is to weaken the Saboteurs and strengthen your Sage so you can lead with clarity under pressure.

  • The core program requires about 15 minutes per day.

There are weekly sessions and small group Pod meetings, but the daily mental reps are brief and designed to fit into a full schedule. Many leaders find that the time invested quickly pays off in reduced stress and improved focus.

  • Yes, especially if your burnout is driven by over-responsibility, perfectionism, or internal pressure.

Mental fitness helps you recognize when your Hyper-Achiever, Pleaser, or Inner Critic is in control. Instead of pushing harder, you learn to operate from grounded clarity. Many leaders report feeling more energy, less overwhelm, and a stronger sense of alignment.

  • This work is especially powerful for:

    • Mission-driven leaders carrying high responsibility

    • Founders and executives navigating constant pressure

    • High achievers who tie worth to productivity

    • Leaders stepping into bigger roles

    • Professionals who look successful but feel internally strained

If you are capable and ambitious but not fully at ease, you are likely an ideal fit.

  • You are always in control of what you share.

Pods are supportive and confidential spaces, but vulnerability is never forced. You are encouraged to bring real challenges, yet the level of openness is entirely up to you.

  • If you feel stretched, reactive, overextended, or quietly exhausted, it may be the perfect time.

You don’t need to wait for burnout or crisis. Mental fitness is most powerful when built proactively, while you are already successful and ready to lead at a higher level.

  • The next step is simple.
