Hi, I’m Jen Ajumogobia!

And this is my journey to Mental Fitness and becoming a Positive Intelligence® Coach.

For more than 15 years, I served as a nonprofit executive, leading teams I deeply cared about. I loved the mission but my Hyper-Achiever was often in charge. Late nights, full weekends, constant output. Even when I shifted to part-time work after becoming a mom, I didn’t really slow down.

If I’m honest, my worth felt tied to productivity.

I discovered Positive Intelligence during that season. The science resonated immediately: we can strengthen the neural pathways that quiet self-sabotage and activate a calmer, wiser part of our brain what PQ calls the Sage. But like many high-capacity leaders, I initially treated mental fitness as one more thing to accomplish.

Over time, I began practicing it differently.

Through simple ten-second “PQ reps” sensory exercises that function like push-ups for the brain I learned to notice my Saboteurs (especially my Hyper-Achiever and Pleaser) and shift into curiosity, clarity, and grounded choice. Those small daily reps changed how I lead, how I make decisions, and how I show up in my life.

Today, my worth is no longer measured in hours worked or boxes checked. It’s reflected in alignment, presence, and impact.

Becoming a Positive Intelligence® Coach marked a shift in my work from supporting leaders through strategy alone to also strengthening the inner capacity that makes everything else easier.

Now, I help leaders build mental fitness so they can quiet self-sabotage, strengthen resilience, and find their flow where joy and effectiveness meet.
